Table lamp by Domi Möbler Vinslöv – Chrome with leather covered base – Sweden, 1960s

This understated, but very classy table lamp is Model 798 B by Domi Möbler from the Swedish town of Vinslöv. It is highly likely that the lamp was actually manufactured by Ateljé Lyktan in Ahus, Sweden, as Model 798 B in some parts strongly resembles the Simris/Olympia model, the leather covered base in particular, which is typical for the Simris table lamp series from the 1960s. Even the label is almost identical to that of Ateljé Lyktan. This lamp is in excellent condition, still with its original lamp socket and switch and with hardly any signs of usage or damage. The leather covered base is in amazing condition considering its age, hardly showing any imperfections. The lampshade is included in the price.
