Rare pair of Pewter Candle Holders, Model 224 by GAB Tenn, Sweden, 1932

A rare pair of Swedish pewter (tenn) candle holders by Guldsmedsaktiebolaget (GAB), marked GAB Tenn – Svensk Vara and stamped G8 (indicative of 1932). Includes a tiny workshop mark which resembles a lady’s portrait or a bee – see photos. Beautiful example of Swedish Grace / Scandinavian Modern metalwork from the early 1930s — perfect for collectors and interior design.

This pair is in very good condition with only small signs of wear showing their age. There are no dents, cracks or bad scratching. The candle holders have not been polished and are in fully original condition. As they were made by hand, there is a slight difference in height between the two candle holders of about 1 mm.

Each candelabra holds 3 regular candles with a diameter of 2.4 cm.
