Hexagonal Pine Table Lamp, Mid-Century, Scandinavia

Stunning handcrafted pine table lamp with a striking hexagonal column form, raised on three splayed oak legs. The lamp is built from a single pine log, with the end-grain cross-sections exposed on the exterior faces — revealing dramatic concentric growth rings, bold knots, and flame-like resin streaks that give each panel a completely unique, almost painterly character.

The lamp comes with its original hexagonal pine lid, made from the same log, which can be placed on top to diffuse and direct the light downward. When lit without the lid, the hollow interior glows a deep, warm amber-orange, transforming the piece into a true light artwork.

The in-line rocker switch on the black cord is consistent with Scandinavian craftsmanship from the 1970s, most likely of Swedish origin. The piece is in excellent condition, with no cracks, damage, or repairs visible. A rare and beautiful studio piece that is as much sculpture as it is lamp.
