A sculptural black lacquered candelabra designed by Gunnar Ander for Ystad-Metall, Sweden, dating to the late 1950s. The elegant composition combines slender, organically curved arms with polished brass candleholders, creating a refined balance between playfulness and restraint. Characteristic of Ander’s work, the design blends Swedish elegance with the clean lines of Mid-Century Modern design, making it both decorative and timeless. The candelabra remains in very good vintage condition, showing signs of age and use with minor losses to the black lacquer that add to its authentic character. One of the candle holders has a slight dent in it, but is not very noticeable. The candle holder is suitable for candles with a maximum diameter of 25 mm.
