General terms & conditions of sale – online sales

These terms and conditions of sale exclusively govern the rights and obligations of the parties when selling via the website www.hkvintagefinds.com

The seller is HK Vintage Finds (hereinafter referred to as ‘seller’). The person wishing to purchase is hereinafter referred to as ‘customer’ or ‘buyer’. Together they are referred to as the “parties”. The customer expressly acknowledges acknowledging and accepting these terms and conditions.

Article 1: Examination of property

Buyers are responsible of satisfying themselves as to the condition, dimensions or any other matters concerning items available on HK Vintage Finds. Because of the vintage nature of our items, buyers should know that most pieces – although cleaned and only offered for sale when fully functional and ready to use by the customer – were previously owned; buyers are advised to inquire via phone, email or in person about the condition of any item which they intend to purchase. All condition issues may not be photographed or referenced online, but we are pleased to personally provide a more detailed description and/or additional photographs prior to your purchase. Statements given regarding any item on HK Vintage Finds, whether orally or in writing, are intended as opinion and do not constitute a warranty.

Article 2: Price information & cancellation

The price of each product or service is shown in Euro and is the price in force at the time of confirmation of the order. The price does not include packaging and shipping costs, which are always borne by the customer. These costs must be paid together with the price of the product or service.

The customer places his order by following the procedure on the website. The seller reserves the right to cancel any order or delivery in the event of a dispute with the customer, non-payment or notification by the banking institution, without any liability on the part of the seller. The customer may cancel his order immediately after that order, provided payment has not yet been made.

Article 3: payment

The customer can pay via online bank transfers.

The transfer of ownership occurs only after full receipt of payment by the seller.

Article 4: delivery & transport

The customer has the choice to pick up the bought items himself or to organise his own transport. HK Vintage Finds will pack the goods carefully – if requested and paid for by the customer on our website. Once the items leave our premises, any damage occurred during transport is at the sole responsibility of the customer.

HK Vintage Finds can provide or arrange packing and/or shipping services. Quotes for shipment can be given in advance. In case of delivery organised by HK Vintage Finds delivery is made to the address stated by the customer and to the person present there. Delivery is always on the ground floor. For large orders, the customer should provide extra manpower to help unload the goods. Immediately after delivery, the customer should inspect the goods. Complaints must be formulated within an expiry period of 24 hours after delivery.

Article 5: cancellation

The customer may notify the seller that he renounces his purchase, without payment of a penalty and without giving a reason, within a period of 14 days counting from the day following the day of delivery of the product. This regulation is only valid within the European Union. From this notification, the customer has 10 days to return the product to the seller. If these deadlines are not met, the customer is deemed to have definitively waived his right of withdrawal. The buyer assumes responsibility for payment of all shipments and any damage the item may incur during such time regardless of the reason for return. The return to the seller is at the buyer’s expense and will be made to the following address: HK Vintage Finds – Hunnenpad 17 – 3881 MB PUTTEN – The Netherlands. Upon lawful exercise by the customer of his right of withdrawal and if the products are still in impeccable condition in their original packaging, the seller will refund the price paid by the customer – excluding delivery costs – to the customer within 30 days of the initial payment.

Article 6 : Applicable law and competent court

Dutch law applies exclusively to these sales. In case of dispute, only the competent courts of the judicial district of Gelderland, The Netherlands shall have jurisdiction.
